Mi experiencia con Ryanair
Bueno, ya he comentado un par de veces que iba a volar con Ryanair, así que os cuento mi segunda experiencia con una LowCost (la primera fue con EasyJet el año pasado, y fue parecida a esta). Espero con esto tranquilizar a más de uno que estará asustado después del tema de Air Madrid. No todas son iguales.
En primer lugar, hay que advertir que los “vuelos gratis” o los “vuelos a 0,01 €” que anuncian estas compañías no son tales. Nuestro vuelo Sevilla-Pisa (Italia) estaba anunciado a 0,01€ y al sumarle tasas, seguro obligatorio, que te cobran 9€ por cada maleta que factures, etc, etc… al final se quedó en 31€. Por supuesto, sigue siendo barato (pienso que bastante barato) un vuelo Sevilla-Pisa por ese precio y más pensando que estamos en fechas pre-navideñas (en pleno puente de la Constitución – Inmaculada).
El momento de la facturación es igual que en todas las aerolíneas (caras y baratas). Con la diferencia de que aquí te cobran por cada maleta que factures (nosotros ya lo habíamos pagado en el momento de la reserva) y que controlan el peso del equipaje de mano. Si es más de 10Kg o sobrepasa determinado tamaño, tienes que facturarlo. Esta medida me parece muy bien. Me molesta mucho montarme en el avión con mi pequeña mochilita y ver que no puedo meterla en los compartimentos del equipaje de mano porque muchos pasajeros traen verdaderos maletones con todo su equipaje y no facturan nada.
Al facturar te dan tu tarjeta de embarque, pero no trae asignado un asiento. Esto va por el método de “tonto el último”, así que bastante tiempo antes de entrar en el avión se forma una enorme cola en la puerta de embarque, para intentar entrar cuanto antes y poder elegir el sitio, o para no tener que ir en un asiento separado de las personas con las que viajes. Después he visto que tienes la posibilidad de PAGAR 3€ en el momento de comprar el billete, y con eso te dan prioridad en el embarque, entrando tú antes que los demás pasajeros y eligiendo el sitio donde te quieres sentar.
Dentro del avión, después de localizar un hueco libre, viene el rollo de las instrucciones de seguridad. Aquí viene otra crítica, tanto a Ryanair como a las Administraciones responsables de gestionar los permisos para las aerolíneas que pueden operar en cada aeropuerto. Y es que no es normal que te den las instrucciones de seguridad solamente en Inglés y en Italiano, en un vuelo que tiene como origen o destino España. Más de la mitad de los pasajeros éramos españoles y había bastantes personas que no hablaban ni entendían ninguno de los dos idiomas, así que las instrucciones de seguridad les sirvieron más bien de poco. Mira que costará poco trabajo tener una grabación en castellano con esas instrucciones, y ponerlas antes del despegue… Tampoco hablaba castellano NINGUNA de las personas de la tripulación. Piloto, azafatas… NADIE.
Luego el vuelo… normal. Los asientos normales, el avión se veía nuevecito, etc, con la diferencia de que este avión no tenía pantallas de televisión, así que no habría ni película ni GPS. Pero es igual: no te dejan aburrirte. Nada más despegar empieza …
El Show de RyanAir
Para empezar, reparten unos papeles con “el menú” que puedes elegir para la comida (de pago, por supuesto). Sandwiches, latas de refresco, aperitivos “tipo matutano”, etc, etc. También el catálogo de productos de venta a bordo (el avioncito de Ryanair en miniatura, una cámara de fotos digital, un mp3, un perfume…)
Al rato pasan con el carrito vendiendo esa comida.
Un poco después te anuncian por los altavoces que “en navidad, regala a tus amigos un vale por xxx € para gastar en vuelos con Ryanair… más información en nuestra web”. (por supuesto, todo en perfecto inglés).
Más tarde, anuncian que “vamos a proceder a sortear un vuelo gratis entre todos los que han comprado algo para comer… tengan a mano el ticket”… (espectación entre los pasajeros…) “Y el número agraciado es… 8812312”. Una pasajera pega saltos, la gente aplaude… en fin, cachondeo total.
Un poco más tarde, anuncian que “Ryanair apoya a nosequé fundación humanitaria, y podéis hacer vuestras aportaciones comprando papeletas para un sorteo que tenemos… y que podéis ganar un audi, y nosecuantas cosas más.” Ea, otra vez a pasar la muchacha vendiendo papeletas para el sorteo.
Por último, te informan de que a la llegada al aeropuerto puedes ir hasta Florencia (de Pisa a Florencia habrá unos 85Km) en unos autobuses que te ponen ellos y que puedes comprar el billete en el mismo avión… De nuevo la muchacha vendiendo billetitos.
Así durante las casi tres horas que dura el vuelo!!!
En fin, es una experiencia curiosa. Como he dicho antes, no te dejan aburrirte, pero te intentan vender todo lo vendible. En cuanto a la puntualidad, tanto el vuelo de ida como el de vuelta salieron a su hora prevista, sin ningún problema, y el de vuelta llegó incluso con un adelanto de 25 minutos, así que todo bien.
Desde luego, por esos precios, no tengo ninguna duda de que repetiría con ellos. También con EasyJet (el vuelo de EasyJet del año pasado fue algo menos “pachanguero” que este, un poco más “serio”, aunque también hubo “show a bordo”).

Nosotros en el viaje a Egipto tampoco teníamos tele, la tripulación sólo te hablaba en inglés y además no nos entretenían… 🙁

Son un poco impresentables como compañía. Yo he compradfo un billete por un desplazamiento por trabajo. En su web indican como solicitar factura y cuando les llamas dicen que no emiten factura.
